Visit of Hon. Sudheer Maudhoo, Minister of Blue Economy, Marine Resources, Fisheries and Shipping at MOI

The Hon. Sudheer Maudhoo, Minister of Blue Economy, Marine Resources, Fisheries and Shipping visited the MOI on Monday 9^th December 2019.  The courtesy visit included a welcome statement by Mr. Prem Saddul, Chairman of the MOI Board, a brief overview of the MOI by Dr. (Mrs.) Ruby Moothien Pillay, Director, an address by Mr. Koosiram Conhye, Permanent Secretary and a discourse by the Hon. Minister Sudheer Maudhoo.

The courtesy visit culminated in a guided tour of the various research facilities of the MOI with detailed explanation of the different research projects by the respective scientific staff.
