Visit of Blue Economy Delegation from Seychelles

The MOI received an educational visit of the Blue Economy Seychelles Delegation on Thursday 11^th January 2018 from 10 00 to 12 00 hours.  The objective of the visit was to enable them to learn about the MOI and the different research activities undertaken at the Institute and to be apprised of the career opportunities in the Blue Economy sector.  The delegation consisted of a group of some 15 young people from Seychelles.

The visit included a welcome address by the Director, an Introductory Presentation of MOI research activities by Mrs. K. Nicolas, a presentation on Career Opportunities by Mr. K. Ramdhony and concluded with a scientific guided tour of the research facilities.
